Geography

In Vesturbyggð there is the town Patreksfjörður with 627 inhabitants, Bíldudalur with 166 inhabitants and Krossholt with 19 inhabitants.

Transport

The municipality is served by Patreksfjörður Airport and Bíldudalur Airport.
