Beam Park is a planned railway station under construction in Beam Park in the London Borough of Havering. It is due to open in May 2022.

Development

It was proposed by the Havering Council and will be located to the east of Marsh Way in South Hornchurch in order to serve a new housing development of Beam Park.[1][2] The station will have two platforms and will be between Dagenham Dock and Rainham stations on the London, Tilbury and Southend line. Initially expected to be complete in time for the December 2020 c2c timetable recast,[3][4] the new station is planned to open in May 2022.[5] In November 2018 the Greater London Authority took over responsibility for delivery of the station from Havering Council.[6]

The station site is on the initial section of the London, Tilbury and Southend Railway that opened in 1854. The line was electrified at 25 kV AC in 1961.

Services

The current off-peak passenger service through the site is two trains per hour in each direction between Fenchurch Street and Grays.
