Line 5 is a planned west-east line of Suzhou Rail Transit. Construction is expected to finish in 2021, and the line will be 44.1 kilometers long.[1] Its western terminus will be at Taihu Xiangshan station[2] in Wuzhong District, with its eastern terminus at Yangchenghu South station[2] in Suzhou Industrial Park.[3] 50 six car type B fully automated subway trains where ordered for the line.[4]
