The Eye to Eye Tour , by German heavy metal band Scorpions , took place in 1999 and supported their album Eye II Eye . The second leg was coheadlined by Mötley Crüe . "We were selling 20,000 tickets every night," recalled Crüe singer Vince Neil . "There were tailgate parties in the parking lot, girls dressed up to go to a concert, guys rocked out, singing all the songs. Fun's back."[1]
