Chong Kee Hiong

Chong Kee Hiong is a Singapore politician. A member of the Singapore-based People's Action Party (PAP), he currently serves as a member of parliament (MP) for Bishan-Toa Payoh Group Representation Constituency (GRC).[1]

Education

Chong holds a Bachelor of Accountancy with National University of Singapore and completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program in 2008. He is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.[2]

Career

Chong is the Chief Executive Officer of Suntec Real Estate Investment Trust.[3]

Political Career

On 12 August 2015, the PAP announced Chong to be part of a five-member PAP team that would be contesting in Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC in the 2015 general election.[4] Chong was elected into Parliament following the 2015 Singapore General Elections,[5] when their five-member PAP team won 73.59% of the electorate's valid votes.[6]
