PriceSmart Foods is a regional chain of supermarkets located in British Columbia, Canada. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Overwaitea Food Group, which is owned by the Jim Pattison Group. PriceSmart shares the same brands and rewards card system as other Overwaitea chains, including Save-On-Foods. Some Save-On-Foods stores were converted into PriceSmart stores, such as the one in Richmond.

The chain is considered by some industry analysts as being a no frills brand of store.[1] In addition, the chain promotes itself as having a user-friendly store layout designed for speed and convenience. Another one of the chain's specialties is in carrying a high number of ethnic foods, such as the store in Richmond which has fully half of its products being Asian food.[2]

As of September 7, 2015, 14 of 16 PriceSmart locations have been converted to Save-On-Foods, with the few others remaining as PriceSmart.[3] The remaining PriceSmart Foods stores will focus on ethnic (primarily Asian) products and specialties.
