Blackarachnia (Beast Wars: Transformers. Though originally a Maximal protoform, she was reprogrammed into an evil Predacon in her series debut by Tarantulas. Then, half-way through the second season, she begins to warm-up to the Maximal Silverbolt in a Romeo and Juliet-type relationship, eventually siding with the other Maximals at the beginning of the third season. Even though her 'natural' Predacon shell programming prevents her from becoming truly good, it is not until she dies and is reformatted into a Transmetal 2 that she then completely allies with the Maximals; her Predacon shell program finally erased. However, she still retains- and likes- her "bad girl" persona. In the sequel series, Beast Machines: Transformers, she remains a Maximal the entire time.)
