The X boat is a 16-foot (4.9 m) sailing dinghy designed as a safe, uncomplicated junior trainer for beginners. This hard-chined, pointed bow centerboard boat is the only non-scow governed by the Inland Lake Yachting Association. It is also known as the X Class, X Scow and Cub Boat.
