Matli (Sindhi: ماتلي) is the largest taluka of Badin District in the Sindh province of Pakistan, it is administratively subdivided into 12 Union Councils.

Notable persons

  • Syed Safdar Hussain Shirazi (Al-Hashmi) famous with Name Safdar Hussain (Telephone Operator) Migrated from Jhelum to Matli (1959 to 2019) he belongs to Al-Hashimi tribe and his language is Punjabi. he is a descendant of Shah Fathullah Shirazi Al-Hashmi who migrated from Shiraz city of Iran to Dhakkan India. he had given his service to Pakistan Telecommunication Limited Ptcl Matli exchange as Telephone Operator. he was retired in 2008 from PTCL, he died in 2019.
