For one thing, people of her socioeconomic class generally lived longer because they had the resources to take care of themselves; for another, she was an Ashkenazi Jew, and they have a genetic marker for longevity (of course some Jews die young or young-ish, but by and large they live into their 80s and 90s, even those born in the 19th c). undo
