Baohe District (simplified Chinese: 包河区; traditional Chinese: 包河區; pinyin: Bāohé Qū) is a district of Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, China, located on the northwest shore of Lake Chao. The district has an area of 294.94 km2 (113.88 sq mi) and a population of 817,686 inhabitants.[1] It governs 7 subdistricts and 2 towns.
