Citibank Russia (Russian: Ситибанк) is a Russian commercial bank, which is part of the financial corporation Citigroup.[2]
Branches & ATMs
Citibank Russia has branches, offices and ATMs present in Moscow, St.Petersburg, Volgograd, Ekaterinburg, Nizhniy Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Sochi, Kazan, Ufa and Novosibirsk.[3]
Termination consumer banking
In April 2021, Citigroup announced that it would exit consumer banking in 13 countries, including Russia. Perhaps this business will be acquired by either Alfa-Bank or Tinkoff Bank. However, the exit process is expected to take up to several years.[4] Exit from Consumer business does not influence Citi’s commitment to the markets where the bank serves institutional clients. Russian market is an important market for Citi, and one in which Citi will continue to serve its institutional clients.
