Daming (Chinese: 大名; pinyin: Dàmíng; lit. 'great name') is a county of far southern Hebei province, People's Republic of China, bordering the provinces of Shandong to the east and Henan to the south. It is under the administration of Handan City.
It was formerly known as Beijing under the Northern Song dynasty, who used it as their northern capital.[1]
