Dhaneswarpur is a village, in Dantan II CD Block in Kharagpur subdivision of Paschim Medinipur district in the state of West Bengal, India.

The headquarters of Dantan II CD Block are located at Dhaneswarpur.[1]

Demographics

As per 2011 Census of India Dhaneswarpur had a total population of 2,000 of which 1,020 (51%) were males and 98 (49%) were females. Population below 6 years was 199. The total number of literates in Dhaneswarpur was 1,341 (67.05% of the population over 6 years).[2]

Transport

SH 5 connecting Rupnarayanpur (in Bardhaman district) and Junput (in Purba Medinipur district) passes through Dhaneswarpur.[3]
