Premium Crime was an Italian pay television channel owned by Mediaset through his pay Mediaset Premium offer. The channel broadcast crime movies and series.
It shut down on 10 January 2022.
History[edit]
The channel was announced at a press conference on 29 June 2011, and it started broadcasting on 1 July 2011 with Law & Order: LA.[1]
On 23 June 2015, following changes to the platform, the HD version and the timeshift +24 started, and the SD version was deleted. On 1 June 2018 the channel continues to broadcast on SD and the +24 version ends.
Since 1 June 2018, the channel arrives on Infinity on the section "Live Channels".[2]
Since 4 June 2018, the channel arrives on Sky on channel 118 in HD.[3]
Since April 2019 the channel is also available on Sky Go.
After Mediaset Premium closed on 1 June 2019, the channel continues to broadcast on Infinity and Sky.
Since 8 April 2021, after the merger of Infinity and Mediaset Play, the channel is available on the pay offer Infinity+.
On 10 January 2022, the channel, along with other Mediaset pay channel end their broadcast.[4]
