The European Olympic Committees is an organization based in Rome, Italy. Its European membership is 49 National Olympic Committees.

In the following table, the year in which the NOC was recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is also given if it is different from the year in which the NOC was created.

  1. ^ Israel is a full member of the EOC since 1994. Until 1981 it was a member of the Asian Games Federation (a predecessor of Olympic Council of Asia).
  2. ^ The Olympic Committee of Serbia was founded in 1911, as a successor to the Serbian Olympic Club.
  3. ^ The Olympic Committee of Serbia was admitted to the IOC in July 1912, and sent a delegation to the 1912 Summer Olympics.[1]
