In mitochondrial genetics, Haplogroup F is a human mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) haplogroup.

Haplogroup F is centered in Asia and appears in eastern China and Japan. It is not found in the Americas[1]. It is a descendant haplogroup of Haplogroup R.
