With a low student-teacher ratio and students from over 30 nations, ICS is a fully accredited K-12 International School teaching an American college-preparatory curriculum with a Biblical worldview. Founded in 1993, ICS fosters a caring community committed to providing each student with a quality, holistic education within and beyond the classroom. Alongside academics, ICS instills in each student a love and respect for people of all cultures, a zeal for lifelong learning, and a passion for personal excellence.

The school was first named Christian International School, Ltd. (CIS) when Mr. Graham Holderness from St. George’s Anglican Church began the institution.
By 1996, just three years after its opening dates, the school was approved as a candidate for accreditation under the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). In 1999, both of these were approved.
