Miss Teen USA 2004[edit]

Winings (Miss Sandhills Teen USA) won the Miss Nebraska Teen USA 2004 title on January 1, 2004 over runner-up Canice Coan (Miss Platte County Teen USA). At Miss Teen USA 2004, Winings placed in the top ten. She was the first teen from Nebraska to ever place at Miss Teen USA. That pageant was eventually won by Shelley Hennig of Louisiana. Her 2004 sister titleholder (Miss Nebraska USA) was Guerin Austin, Miss Regency USA.

Miss USA 2009[edit]

In 2008, Winings competed at Miss Nebraska USA as Miss Sandhills USA, and placed 2nd runner-up to Micaela Johnson, Miss Douglas County USA. Johnson did not place at Miss USA 2008, and it was won by Crystle Stewart of Texas on her fifth try. In 2009, Winings again competed as Miss Sandhills USA and won the title of Miss Nebraska USA over runner-up Belinda Wright (Miss Nebraska USA 2010), Miss Greeley County USA, which was held in Norfolk, Nebraska at the Johnny Carson Theater. Winings failed to place at Miss USA 2009. That pageant was eventually won by Kristen Dalton of North Carolina. Wining's teen sister titleholder was Sarah Hollins, Miss Nebraska Teen USA 2009. At Miss Teen USA 2009, Hollins did not place in the top fifteen. The pageant was eventually won by Stormi Henley of Tennessee. In 2010, Belinda Wright, the first-runner up to Winings from 2009, won the title of Miss Nebraska USA 2010 and placed in the top fifteen at Miss USA 2010, which was eventually won by Rima Fakih of Michigan.
