Muay Lao is a traditional unarmed martial art from Laos. It is similar to muay Thai from Thailand, pradal serey from Cambodia, and tomoi from Malaysia. It incorporates punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes. Muay Lao was an event at the 2009 Southeast Asian Games in Vientiane.

The martial art is related to other forms of martial arts found in other parts of the Indian cultural sphere including Musti-yuddha in India, Muay Thai in Thailand, Pradal serey in Cambodia and Lethwei in Myanmar.
