Phillip Ervin (born July 15, 1992) is an American professional baseball center fielder for the Cincinnati Reds organization.

Ervin attended Samford University, where he played college baseball for the Samford Bulldogs baseball team.[1] Ervin was the Cape Cod League MVP in 2012.[2]

The Cincinnati Reds selected Ervin in the first round, with the 27th overall selection, of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft.[3][4] The Reds signed Ervin to a contract with a $1,812,400 signing bonus.[5] He played for the Billings Mustangs of the Rookie-level Pioneer League and the Dayton Dragons of the Class A Midwest League after signing, where he had a combined .311 batting average, nine home runs, 35 runs batted in, a .425 on-base percentage, and 14 stolen bases in 15 attempts.[6]

The Reds added Ervin to their 40-man roster after the 2016 season.[7]
