Stadio Olympica, listed as Stadio Olimpico del Ghiaccio (Template:Lang-it), is an indoor ice hockey arena in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. It was built in 1955 and holds 12,000 people. The ice hockey games, as well as the other skating events and opening and closing ceremonies from the 1956 Winter Olympics were held at this arena. During the Olympics, the stadium had no roof, but has since added one.
The stadium is also shown in the James Bond movie For Your Eyes Only, where Bond (played by Roger Moore) met with the villainous Aris Kristatos (Julian Glover), where Kristatos (the real villain) tried to trick Bond into pursuing and killing his rival Milos Columbo (Topol).[1]
