Stanford is a hamlet in the English county of Bedfordshire. It is part of the parish of Southill (where the 2011 Census population was included) that also contains the villages of Southill, Broom and Ireland.

The village has recently transformed an empty field in the middle of the village into a playing field using local grants. It now includes a playground area, basketball court and a football pitch.

Despite local opposition, an application by Tarmac for permission to quarry for sand and gravel on the land between Stanford and the neighbouring village of Broom was approved by Bedfordshire County Council in January 2008.
