[edit]

A. J. Antoon was a very close family friend. Certain facts about him are not true. For example, my mother, Elizabeth McGonagle, was his partner for many years and also worked as a co-director one several of his plays including that Championship Season, Sticks and Bones, among others. They loved each other very much. His family, who still lives in Methuen, Mass. can confirm this. But it is true he was bi, and there was another partner he had, named Miguel, who was very dear to him. I am sorry to say that I do not remember his last name. The person, Peter, that you mention, was no more than an opportunistic care-taker. They were only partners for a short time, when A.J. was very ill and vulnerable. A.J. was a very talented person and worthy of note. My name is Susan Pascal Beran, and I am also worthy of note. (50.131.176.118 (talk) 07:29, 4 September 2012 (UTC))[reply]
