NYCB
[edit]This company predated New York City Ballet and does not hold enough relation to be a direct predecessor.--tufkaa 04:51, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
Thank you
[edit]- Thank you for creating this page! I have added a seealso to NYCB on the grounds that:
- American Ballet and Ballet Caravan were founded by City Ballet's selfsame founders, Balanchine and Kerstein;
- they are included in the history of NYCB on their website [1];
- and photos of their productions are displayed in the lobby of the New York State Theatre;
- City Ballet in any case consider themselves to be their lineal descendants;
- nor have I read any history of ballet that does not. Robert Greer (talk) 19:59, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- PS If you're going to be at Columbia on Sunday the 16th we can discuss this further. Robert Greer (talk) 19:00, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
