Romanian Revolution
[edit]Didn't anarchists play a role in the Romanian Revolution? They must of played some kind of role, right? Charles Essie (talk) 18:10, 12 October 2013 (UTC)
- Which one? Anarchism was far less influential by 1989, and has no mention in that article. I am sure some anarchists took part, but not a notable number compared to the mass of other groups that formed. One of the 19th-century events would be more plausible.--Martin Berka (talk) 08:37, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
- I wasn't able to find anything about any anarchist movement during the Communist era, during the revolution, or soon after. The revolution was especially a murky period, especially on an ideological front, so it's hard to give an ideology for any of the sides, but no one called themselves "anarchists".
- During the Communist era, there were some biographical books about Romanian anarchists of 19th/early 20th century, but I suppose they were simply described as "revolutionaries" and "socialists", rather than focusing on their anarchist views. bogdan (talk) 15:03, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
