  • the catalogue of Filipino composers, change to a catalogue....
  • Martin Nievera, Jona Viray, Aicelle Santos, Maricris Garcia, and Kyla performed as guest acts., April de los Santos is missing.

Background and development

[edit]
  • Early in her career, Regine Velasquez's music was rooted in Original Pilipino Music (OPM), which were dominated by "kundiman" ballads and bubblegum pop love songs., reword to less passive voice. Hyperlink OPM, kundiman, and bubblegum pop.

Synopsis and reception

[edit]
  • The stage design looked like a tropical garden adorned with grass and trees. It resembled a scaled-down version of the Philippine landmark Luneta Park., reword to a more formal tone.
  • "Sinasamba Kita",, put comma inside of quotes.
This is a song title and not a sentence or phrase being quoted, so it should be outside. The MoS is If a quote ends in the middle of a sentence, we typically put a comma rather than a period at the end of the quote inside the quotation marks. Pseud 14 (talk) 14:59, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Pseud 14 and Piotrus: I'm afraid I'm not sold on either of the new hooks. My suggestion is ALT3: ... that for her residency Ang Ating Musika, Regine Velasquez performed "two concerts-in-one"? [2] - but I'd need to see an end-of-sentence citation for it.--Launchballer 15:28, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Launchballer: Citation added, but I would suggest changing "tour" to concert series or residency, as this was not a concert tour. Pseud 14 (talk) 16:07, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Fair cop, my apologies. I would note that I can't approve my own hook. (For concision, 'residency' is probably better.)--Launchballer 16:12, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
For the record, I am fine with the new hook, although I can't say I find any particularly enthralling. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:44, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
