Date of Birth...[edit]

So I have been researching the family of which Saint Bevo belongs. There is something rather suspicious regarding the date of Saint Bevo's birth.

The article states that Bevo was born in the year 589 and that his father is Pepin of Landen. All good until you read the article about Pepin of Landen and discover that his birth was 580.

This of course would mean that Bevo is 9 years younger than his father... I suppose it's not entirely impossible, however...

Saint BavoBavo of Ghent – Per WP:NPOV and MOS:SAINTS. Also, the articles on the Dutch and French (the Netherlands and Belgium are the most involved countries) Wikipedias all refer to Bavo as "Bavo of Ghent" or linguistic equivalents thereof. HyperGaruda (talk) 13:57, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Colombanian saints"[edit]

This category was recently added to the article, but there is no mention in the article of such an association, or in the sources of any such thing as a "Colombanian Order" to which he might have belonged. What gives? --Andreas Philopater (talk) 14:06, 1 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
