Travel

[edit]

I find the bit of where he's been travelling a bit odd. It states a mix of countries and cities, and says both oslo and norway though oslo is IN norway. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.242.174.233 (talk) 17:45, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed "Oslo, Norway" - thanks! Still more trimming to do of the unsourced blow-by-blow over the years though.★NealMcB★ (talk) 04:24, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cousins with David Schwimmer ("Ross" on "Friends")?

[edit]

Is there any credible source for this? It was posted by an anonymous user, so count me skeptical.... --RobertC 00:43, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that I have some doubts. I did some research the other day, and saw a couple blogs that said that it had been mentioned as trivia on an episode of Access Hollywood. However, I also found another blog that said they were not related. So, I'd say it should probably be pulled out of the article, unless someone else can confirm it. --Elonka 00:51, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, looks like it was definitely on Access Hollywood, here's the link to the clip (it's just past halfway through the clip). I'd say that's good enough in my book to leave it in.... --RobertC 01:01, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, nice find! I'll add this to "sources" on some of the other dancers, too. BTW, there are deletion discussions going on right now for a couple of the other contestant bios, in case you would like to participate. Specifically: Ivan Koumaev and Musa Cooper. --Elonka 01:30, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FYI, there is currently a discussion at Talk:David Schwimmer about whether it's worth even mentioning Benji in David's article. I think it is, especially because of the Access Hollywood mention, but another editor disagrees. Anyone interested in the subject, is welcome to participate in the discussion. --Elonka 17:30, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Where did H Grow Up in Redlands or In Moreno valley? His FOX profile states that hes from Redlands. someone fix it please?

Straight from Heidi's offical MySpace, she states that she is related to David Schwimmer, who is her "3rd cousin". I believe this, along with the Access Hollywood report, proves that she and Benji are related to David. I think it is worth mentioning in the article, since other family members are mentioned as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.193.216.191 (talkcontribs) 09:23, June 1, 2007

Thanks, and I agree it's interesting, but unfortunately we can't use a mySpace blog as a source, especially because we have another source somewhere that conflicts, and says it's not true. So we really need a reliable source that says it. Also, please keep in mind that it's routine for people to set up fraudulent mySpace bios -- we have no way of knowing for sure that it's really hers. :/ --Elonka 09:45, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This seems to have been resolved with good references. ★NealMcB★ (talk) 04:34, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Winning by 78 votes?

[edit]

This page says Benji won by 78 votes...where is the source for this? To my knowledge that information was never released. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.240.194.32 (talkcontribs) September 13, 2006

I'm pretty sure it was just a temporary vandalism edit. That kind of information often gets added to articles because somebody saw something unconfirmed on a blog somewhere, and they think that that means they can add it to a Wikipedia article. In actuality, information can only be added here, per WP:V if it is from some verifiable source. I've removed the "78 votes" comment. If you see it get re-added in the future, feel free to delete it on sight. --Elonka 20:22, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The "Deborah Szekely" with whom Benji competed in 2008 is NOT the same person as the Wikipedia entry it is linked to. The person who competed in swing dancing with Benji is at least 2 generations younger.144.160.226.91 (talk) 01:22, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
