Not True
[edit]Notice - while Rocko and SpongeBob have absolutly NO human characters whatsoever (with the exeption of the live-action SpongeBob sequences), you'll note that Blik, Gordon and Waffle are the only over-intelligent animals regularly appearing on the show (with the exeption of the newts and bear in the theme song). catscrathc rules!!!
Actually They Do There Are Many Human characters In Spongebob like Hands The Fisher men and Many more, While in Rocko Really Really Big Man Is probably the only human Character.Youknowme(youdon'tknowme) 19:01, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Shouldn't there be a section saying whether people liked it or hated it? Something like professional reviews? Cfive 03:33, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
Similarities
[edit]Why is this in the article? Why talk about how one character is smart, like another character on another show.. or another character is fat, like a fat character on another show.. Couldn't this be done with any cartoon in television history? Or every sitcom in history, for that matter? If there was a point to pointing this out, I wouldn't have a problem with it.. but as is, it just seems to be taking up space. Solkaige 08:23, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
OK, I moved it here for the time being. If there was an accusation that it was actually copying one of these other shows it might make sense, but these characters have existed longer than most of the other shows mentioned here so that can't be the case. Also characters being "Smart" or "selfish" is pretty much standard television writing. Solkaige 22:45, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
Similarity
[edit]- Blik is selfish like Blooregard Q. Kazoo of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Eddy of Ed, Edd n Eddy and Myrtle of Lilo & Stitch.
- Gordon is smart like Tucker of Danny Phantom, Edd of Ed, Edd n Eddy, Velma of Scooby-Doo, Kimiko of Xiaolin Showdown, Jimmy Neutron of The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Mac of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Irwin of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Wanda and AJ of The Fairly OddParents, and Dr. Floyd of The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd.
- Waffle is least intelligent like Ed of Ed, Edd n Eddy, Stimpy of The Ren and Stimpy Show, Goofy of old Disney cartoons, Cosmo of The Fairly OddParents and Patrick of SpongeBob SquarePants.
- Hovis bears a striking resemblance to Jerry of Totally Spies! except that he has black hair.
- Bootsy seems to have the Ben 10 character Fourarms' strength.
- Mrs. Cramdilly is similar to Aunt May of Spider-Man.
- The ghost featured in Clan Destiny is a reference to Danny Phantom.
- Squeakus is a bullying mouse and really is a bully like Jake's bully in American Dragon: Jake Long, Dash of Danny Phantom and Flash Thompson of Spider-Man.
- Squeakus is tricky and clever like Norm the Genie of The Fairly OddParents.
- Bootsy is a somehow parody of Venom, a Spider-Man villain.
- Hovis takes pictures in "Unicorn Club", like Eddie Brock of Spider-Man.
TV Movie Ideas
[edit]Whats "TV Movie ideas?"
- I hope it's some krazy kid whose edits weren't reverted. Below I reproduce the text for historical interest. Hyenaste [citation needed] 23:46, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Just one question....
[edit]Is it cancelled? Because I haven't seen a new episode in a while. --64.72.59.179 14:24, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- Probably a good thing, this show is absolutly horrible. H2P (Yell at me for what I've done) 19:39, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- I second that. --66.218.18.121 02:50, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

- Me too, Catscratch is a family member to the tv show in the 21st century. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikialexdx (talk • contribs) 15:46, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Trivia
[edit]Is this really supposed to be there? Camp Lazlo was premiered the day before Catscratch. It seems silly as you could say that it was premiered on a sat/sunday w/e.
Check it
[edit]I really think this article should be reviewed. Their fur-covered hearts, while literally true, was not used in that context. Way too personal. 22:36, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
Hiatus
[edit]What supports the show being on hiatus? It could be cancelled for all we know —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.3.11.2 (talk) 21:23, August 28, 2007 (UTC)
CANCELED OR ON HIATUS?
[edit]I WANT TO KNOW FOR SURE IF ITS CANCELLED OR ON HIATUS?ITS SAID ITS BEEN BOTH. --AAP52 23:23, 14 November 2007 (UTC) many people think its canclled but no one knows.
This show is over..
[edit]Yeah I talked to Doug Tennapel and he said it would take forever to get new episodes.. And he's working on a movie for the Neverhood.. So this show is dead. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smartreader67 (talk • contribs) 22:17, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
Season 2 on April 2011?
[edit]Uh, Could anyone cite a soruce as to Catscratch is having Season 2 episodes on April 2011? I especialy find it very hard to believe and it is very suspiscious. HMR 20:51, 06 April 2011 (UTC)
Firstly, you have bad spelling. And secondly, i question that too as to weather or not Catscratch was going to get renewed for a second season. Though the article has been edited so many times that i actually believe that the show is going to be renewed. - signed comment added by Notshane (talk) 05:40, 16 April 2011
- Well the thing is Nickelodeon didn't mention anything about a revival for the series in their upfront recently, also we have yet to see any sources that prove that it is being revived. EpiSonic (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 12:12, 16 April 2011 (UTC).
True. But then again there are some cult followings that always get the latest scoop on Catscratch. Even if they don't provide a source, you should give them some time. I'm sure it'll come around. Even though i have a feeling that the person who edited the season two page has very poor grammar because he misspelled so many words in the episodes description. And when i tried to remove the fake season two episodes and only leaving the one that said "TBA" he started arguing with me and even threatened to come to my house and kill me. But anyway its possible that the information could be false. And i cannot really picture E G Daily voicing waffle. But only time will tell. - signed comment added by Notshane (talk) 14:56, 16 April 2011
Well I guess there is always a shot though if popularity were a factor in reviving any nick show currently, I'd say Invader ZIM would have a better chance at getting revived since that series had a new DVD released which sold very well & had its own convention, Catscratch isn't very popular anymore & not too many people I think remember the show either, but hey I guess stranger things have happened. EpiSonic (talk) 13:43, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
True, Invader ZIM still is very popular, maybe that show would get renewed if anything. There's not really much hope for Catscratch now that you think about it. - signed comment added by Notshane (talk) 04:42, 25 April 2011
I agreed with you mates, Until we have a source about what's new and all that stuff, They have all been removed. HMR 20:51, 07 June 2011 (UTC)
Please announce that this will have 2 seasons Jaymarturner74 (talk) 16:41, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
Alot like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy and Ed, Edd n Eddy
[edit]Gordon, Waffle and Mr. Blik are alot like Disney's Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy and Cartoon Network's Ed, Edd n Eddy:
- Mickey Mouse, Edd and Gordon: The smart ones
- Donald Duck, Eddy and Mr. Blik: The angry ones
- Goofy, Ed and Waffle: The dumb ones — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.255.13.68 (talk) 17:30, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
