Dalia Itzik was not the president
[edit]Dalia Itzik was not and is not the president, she's only functioning as president since Katzav is on leave of absence. Any time a president is absent, he is replaced by the Knesset speaker, there's nothing special about Itzik's position. When Itzik was abroad a couple of months ago, her deputy was acting president. We can't list every person that was ever acting president.--Doron 14:21, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
- I agree, more so in this case. The previous 'acting presidents' performed their duties because the Presidency was vacant. However, in Itzik's case, the Presidency isn't vacant. Itzik shouldn't be listed, though I'd alow the other 'acting president/speakers' to be. GoodDay 18:34, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
