Notability

[edit]

This person is a former national governmental official who appears frequently in mainstream media and policy-oriented forums as an analyst and commentator on Israel-Palestine. He's served in a number of pivotal roles regarding developing the international institutional space on this issue as well--founding organizations, drafting notable peace initiatives, etc. He is exactly the kind of person who I would hope if someone saw him appear in the news or as a media feature, they could then quickly do an online search to find out more about his background and general profile to then take that basic information into account when processing information or stances provided in media appearances. That's exactly the beauty of this website. Given the prolific and highly visible (and notably institutionalized) nature of this person's public work, a profile on Wikipedia seems exceedingly useful for online seekers of information to have access to. Criticism section is extremely weak

[edit]

It should really be deleted. A few second rate newspapers complaining that Levy is biased and not favourable enough towards Israel does not warrant its own section. User2346 (talk) 05:18, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
