The above referee had not reached Serie A status in Italian football, so I very much doubt his notability. Ref (chew)(do) 23:13, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Noted that he has been removed as of this timestamp, but relevant to keep this in case re-added. Ref (chew)(do) 07:14, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Per WP:NFOOTBALL, players (and hence referees) are considered notable if they have participated in a competitive game between two teams from fully professional leagues. Per WP:WikiProject Football/Fully professional leagues, Italy Serie C is considered a professional league. So, yes, meets notability for at least one month. Helen Reddy and the Rule of Three

[edit]

Opening this discussion due to attempts to exceed the allowable number of credits inline. I would say we need to keep her film credit, and would choose "I Am Woman" and "Angie Baby" as the most notable of her three number one hits. Please discuss below. Thanks. Ref (chew)(do) 19:33, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

She's probably one of the rare exceptions to the rule of three. I would go to four, which could include her three number ones to avoid any haggling. Editrite! (talk) 00:11, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't go for making an Ro3 exception. Just decide which second song to use, she had an acting career that should be highlighted and Pete's on that end is the more notable film. Rusted AutoParts 00:37, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
She had a very notable acting career mostly on Broadway and the West End, but Pete's Dragon is very well known. So acting credits definitely stay. I chose Delta Dawn as her 2nd hit b/c I looked at the charts (all the way at the bottom of her discography). Delta Dawn was a #1 on 4 different charts- Australia, Canada and 2 in the US. Leave Me Alone was #1 in Australia and the US. Angie Baby only topped the chart in the US. Dont want to be accused of having a US bias on this one.SunnyDoo, 01:18, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
And a side note that is a little off Subject but on Topic, Mac Davis 2 songs are not a reflection of his career. My dad was a huge Mac Davis fan and he loved his songs. But the 3 songs he wrote for Elvis were all probably bigger hits than his own work. Once again the acting credits need to stay b/c North Dallas Forty is in its own element a classic and he had a variety show on TV as well. Neil Diamond would be another one is this category. Some of the stuff he wrote for other people probably eclipses some of his own work (but I do love me some Neil Diamond).SunnyDoo, 01:49, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever, I feel that if you start making exceptions and start "stretching" the Ro3, there will be little defence when someone else decides their favourite should include more than that number. I'd urge trying to stick to it throughout. Ref (chew)(do) 03:44, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
