THANK YOU..

will work on images.

Dedewilsonchef&author, yep! You can ping me (send a notification to make sure I see something) by starting your post with {{u|Valereee}} and ending it with four tildes. You have to do both in the same edit; if you "break" the ping by not using the exactly correct template or forget the four tildes, you can't go back and fix it but instead have to start again. :) Wikipedia is a bit complicated at first. —valereee (talk) 14:43, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Very true. But the natives can be friendly. For a certain value of "friendly". Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 16:11, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

question about images[edit]

Valereee

Friends who have taken pics of me are waiting to upload. Exactly where do they go to do that?

Also, if a photographer gives permission to use an image, how do we do that?

See User_talk:Dedewilsonchef&author#photo (follow that link), and note the links provided there. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 20:11, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Dedewilsonchef&author I'm copying the instructions here, too:
You go to this page:
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:UploadWizard
and after that it’s just click and upload.
Name them something we’ll be able to search for — firstnamelastname1.jpg is a really good template -- and if you’ll let us know when you’ve done this, we’ll know to go looking for them.
If the photos are professional shots or already appear on the internet somewhere, the copyright holder will also need to also follow the instructions at
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Email_templates

further question[edit]

Hey, Dedewilsonchef&author, there's a photo on the article, and that's the only one I see at commons. —valereee (talk) 09:42, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Added a second photo per request at my talk; I don't think the article is long enough to add any of the others. —valereee (talk) 13:40, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Agree. And tbh I'm a little sceptical that the second one is "own work", but whatever. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 19:31, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Gråbergs Gråa Sång, yeah. I don't doubt that she owns it; it's used on her website, and it's taken from video of her at Craftsy. It's possible she has a professional video setup that she controls the buttons on. But it's used elsewhere on the web, and I suspect someone will eventually mark it for deletion and she'll have to go through OTRS. —valereee (talk) 15:40, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

COI editing[edit]

Hey, Damon Herring, it looks like you have a WP:conflict of interest with this article subject? You need to disclose that COI on your user page, and it's best to request suggested edits here on talk rather than making them yourself. —valereee (talk) 14:30, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
