RITA Award Winner

[edit]

In the Awards section it should say that Gabaldon won a RITA Award given by the Romance Writers of America in 1992. The award was "Best Romance of 1991" for Gabaldon's novel Outlander. Name

[edit]

If she didn't take her husband's name, as stated in the article, then why does the article start with stating her name as Diana Jean Gabaldon Watkins, as 'Watkins' clearly is her husband's name? Modallist (talk) 11:35, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Religious Beliefs

[edit]

Gabaldon has stated she is a Roman Catholic on several occasions, e.g. here: ("I'm a practicing Roman Catholic".) http://januarymagazine.com/profiles/gabaldon.html and here.(" I’m a Roman Catholic and a Libertarian, but that’s as far as I’d go in description") http://www.lightspeedmagazine.com/nonfiction/interview-diana-gabaldon/
