(death)[edit]

Is this woman possibly still with us? I've been searching for more info but really can't find any. If anyone knows if she is alive, the information would be most appreciated. Longevitymonger 23:50, 2 January 2007

She died December 2, 2001 at 97. Haddison (talk) 23:10, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Six years later. For some reason many authorities lack her death date but US Library of Congress lists 1904-2001.[1] Some Borton/deTrevino/Trevino confusion may be in play. --P64 (talk) 23:28, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

These are the lead words of several paragraphs

  1. Mary Elizabeth Victoria Borton de Treviño ... (lead par)
  2. Elizabeth was born ...
  3. In later life, Elizabeth Borton wrote several memoirs of her life ...
  4. Elizabeth Borton de Treviño died ...
  5. Mrs Treviño also wrote a novel ... (final par)

2. Not simply "Elizabeth" altho that is fine later in the paragraph. If 'Mary Elizabeth Victoria Borton' is the birth name, we may use that or "Elizabeth Borton" here.

3. Did she publish anything as Elizabeth Borton? After her husband's death?

5. Never "Mrs Trevino". Simply "Trevino" is ok, if we are right to make her "Trevino, Elizabeth Borton de". In that case we should not suddenly use simply "Trevino" in the final paragraph.

Rewrite the final paragraph without "Mrs Trevino" or the lone first names. --P64 (talk) 23:28, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
