Help images

[edit]

Can an expert please help format images in this articles so they all show up both on computers and especially on smart phones? Gratefully--Aboudaqn (talk) 06:59, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Aboudaqn: What exactly is the problem with the images?  Seagull123  Φ  14:18, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Aboudaqn: I checked the page in Google Chrome on both my iPad and my iPhone, and in the Wikipedia app on my iPhone, and all images show up fine. Feel free to reopen the {{help me}} if need be. — Sam Sailor 16:15, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Seagull123:@Sam Sailor: Someone (non-expert on the subject, it seems) did a fly-by and left "overly detailed|section|date=January 2017". Then, it seems someone else flew by, saw the note, mechanically obeyed, and removed the entire art gallery. Isn't it helpful to see specific images when citing influences in painting? Especially if the artist's own work in unavailable?... I just don't understand the thinking.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Aboudaqn (talkcontribs) 02:00, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Aboudaqn: I'm not really sure whether they should be there, they were removed because of the WP:OR policy, so I would suggest you look there. I'm {{ping}}ing the user who removed the images so that you can address any comments to them as well. (@Finnusertop).  Seagull123  Φ  16:12, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I don' think it's useful to show pictures of other artists' paintings and claim influence, unless you can cite reliable sources on those influnces. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 01:00, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
