[edit]Felix Rohatyn is widely credited in saving NYC from bankruptcy in 1975, see "Big Rescues Can Work. Just Ask New York."

Vandalism
[edit]I reverted a fairly obvious NPOV violation from 82.211.247.19, however, I don't know enough about the subject to determine if the updates from 80.41.104.0 are reasonable or not, so I would appreciate it if someone who does know this subject could check. -- Fordan 23:02, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- Felix Rohatyn, being a Jewish banker, is a popular figurehead for the LaRouche Two-Minute Hate, so expect lots of LaRouchie vandalism on this entry.
Criticism
[edit]I have added back the "Criticism" section. Although I believe a better section title is in order, I do not believe it a POV, as the article addresses the claims neutrally and provides sources (the only such sources in the article I may point out). --Falcorian (talk) 05:25, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Poorly sourced negative material removed
[edit]If it is true that Mr. Rohatyn overthrew the government of Chile this would be mentioned in more than just this one book. That is not enough sourcing for this kind of potentially negative information. Find some sources in mainstream newspapers, etc. and I will have no problem with it. Charlie Rose Show
[edit]On the questions of sources and notability. Please see the Charlie Rose show link for the CR show on 12/21/2000. I've only been able to view the first 10-15 minutes, but it looks like it's going to be essentially an hour long interview between Charlie and Felix. Mrs. R and Hugh Carey are also listed in the credits as appearing.

Mistress?
[edit]I removed one sentence and a reference to the following book: *2004:"Nemesis: The True Story : -Regan Books - ISBN 9780060580537 [0-06-058053-4]. As far as I can tell, Rohatyn is mentioned only once in the book, in passing. The book seems to be not quite a reliable source - a Dominick Dunne style scandal mongering for the rich book. So in short, it doesn't quite come up to the standards of WP:BLP. More importantly, I don't think it passes WP:Weight - it strikes me as almost like "FR tied his shoes 12 times on September 1, 1978." - if so, who cares? Feel free to take this to WP:BLPN - since it is a borderline/trivial case, I won't dispute what they decide on this. Smallbones (talk) 13:12, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
