This should be Frazier, and not Fraizer, yes? Vasu619 (talk) 16:41, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hull transfer

Please don't edit this page until both clubs confirm the signing. Having an offer accepted does not confirm a transfer by any stretch.Twsf (talk) 00:34, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Under-21 caps

[edit]

Just been checking out of curiosity, and the figure of 14 caps for Fraizer is incorrect. He made his debut for the Under-21s against Poland in March 2008, and between then and now (including that game) there have only been 15 England U21 games (proof - http://www.thefa.com/England/MensUnder-21Team/Results.aspx ). One of those was the recent Euro U21s final that he was suspended from after a red card in the semi-final, and he also missed a friendly match against Wales in May 2008 (proof - http://www.skysports.com/football/match_facts/0,19762,11065_2953492,00.html ), leaving just 13. The FA's official website also has this incorrectly down as 14 caps. I have edited it to 13.

Wikipedia's policy is "verifiability, not truth". If reliable sources state that Campbell has played in 14 England Under-21 internationals, then that is what must be reflected in the article. – PeeJay 21:35, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Despite it being categorically proven that isn't the case, using reliable sources? Wonderful, terrific policy. Have contacted thefa.com, will wait until they amend the figure, although this place can remain wrong for all I care, given the attitude displayed towards those wanting to help with accuracy.
While the FA source states one thing, the other sources provided are able to aggregate with each other and display another thing. I think what the anonymous user is stating is true de facto and can be proven using the sources he/she has given. Mattythewhite (talk) 22:06, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies (from the anonymous user), only just realised I wasn't logged in (and hadn't signed my comments). NickOGS20 (talk) 22:13, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, this is even more irritating. The Man Utd website not only claims that Campbell has played 14 games for the under-21s, but that he has scored five goals for them too! – PeeJay 13:29, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comments
  • The career statistics need a reference.
  • I've done a slight copyedit.
  • Perhaps a little more in the lead, for instance about the long injury spell. But I'll disregard this for the purpose of the GA review.
    • I've added a bit about his injuries in the lead.

Otherwise nice and interesting article. I'll be happy to pass it with the added reference to the table. Arsenikk (talk) 14:11, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the review, Iv'e added a ref for the English club stats, still need for Royal Antwerp once found.

I've had a look around for his Royal Antwerp stats but nothing turned up. I've contacted the webmaster of the Royal Antwerp website to ask if a statistics section could be added for Fraizer Campbell's profile here like in Danny Simpson's] profile. Sunderland06 (talk) 15:51, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Iv'e added Campbell league stats of Royal Antwerp, from Sunderland website.

Ok thanks, I didn't think safc.com would have the Belgian FA Cup stats too. Sunderland06 (talk) 15:52, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Then I shall pass the article. Arsenikk (talk) 16:37, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Place of birth

[edit]

The main article says he was born in Somalia, but the infobox says he was born in Huddersfield Brooza (talk) 11:26, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Some random IP has vandalised the article, I reverted it back. Thank you for noticing it.
