Did you know... that Helene Hayman, Baroness Hayman, elected the first Lord Speaker of the House of Lords in 2006, was the first woman to give birth while serving as a British Member of Parliament in the 1970s, and is reported to have been the first woman to breast feed at the Palace of Westminster?

At Wikipedia:Recent additions 76 (the archive for Did you know?) it states:

...that Helene Hayman, Baroness Hayman, elected the first Lord Speaker of the House of Lords in 2006, was the first woman to give birth while serving as a British Member of Parliament in the 1970s, and is reported to have been the first woman to breast feed at the Palace of Westminster?

This claim is repeated in the article. No source is given in the article, and for the record its not true. The first MP to give birth whilst serving was Beatrice Wright back in the 1940s, not Helene Hayman. --New Progressive 11:36, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
