Not in Swing Girls

[edit]

Haruka Ayase was not in Swing Girls. Shihori Kanjiya, who it was said she played in Swing Girls is, in fact the actree who played Yoshie Saito in Swing Girls. I have corrected this.Kuitan (talk) 00:53, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

real name

[edit]

Haruka Ayase is NOT her real name, she was born Tademaru Aya in Asaminami, Hiroshima, Japan[1][2] Are these sources good enough? Her name was chosen by fans who got to vote on it when she joined Horipro.Kuitan (talk) 11:42, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, one is a dead link and the other is user-generated content. JoshuSasori (talk) 12:55, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

This woman's "real name" has never been officially announced. If it's added to the article without a reliable source, it has to be reverted under the biography of living persons rules, because it is just gossip. JoshuSasori (talk) 12:54, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've reported this on the BLP noticeboard. JoshuSasori (talk) 13:02, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Real name

[edit]

Ayase Haruka is not her real name; online consensus seems to be pretty clear on what her real name is. But she doesn't use it publicly, and no reliable sources identify her as it. Therefore, we are not allowed to give her real name in this article. (Japanese Wikipedia has a specific ban on putting her real name up, and past versions of the article get expunged for violating her privacy.) elvenscout742 (talk) 14:01, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why have you started a new discussion about this duplicating the one above? JoshuSasori (talk) 15:04, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Which one above? There are three sections of this page, all basically on the same topic. I created a new topic to put the facts down. The above discussion seems to be a separate one about whether Ayase Haruka is her real name or not. It seems fairly obvious that it is not, though; the main issue for us is that there is a lack of reliable sources giving her real name. I agree with your above point that IMDb is not a reliable source, but that shouldn't even be at issue. elvenscout742 (talk) 15:15, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The one from about one hour ago, obviously, not the one from three years ago. JoshuSasori (talk) 15:30, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Although I kinda wanna check this book: [3]. It came up in a search for her supposed real name, and is clearly an official source linked to the subject. elvenscout742 (talk) 15:18, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Please no. JoshuSasori (talk) 15:30, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean? Are you saying you don't want this article to mention her real name regardless? I admit, I am still against it based on the debate over on Japanese Wikipedia, but I can't imagine why you would be against searching for reliable sources on the topic. elvenscout742 (talk) 16:12, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I mean I don't want to look inside that book. I have already seen enough of her. JoshuSasori (talk) 16:22, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
