Goumiers

The section re the use of gas during WWI states that it was "against a force of mostly colonial soldiers from French Africa known as Goumiers". If you follow the Goumiers link however the page states that Goumiers were never deployed outside of Morocco between 1914-1918.

I’ve added a citation required label until someone can clear up the issue one way or the other. Clearly the statements cannot both be correct. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 62.173.76.218 (talk) 11:02, 18 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]
