Coyright violation response

[edit]

This is NOT a violation of copyright. The bot which registered the cited texts (a monastic obituary known as a necrology document) as a violation of copyright did NOT also register the very specific parent page where the information was granted full permission for exclusive re-use without citation. You can find the legal text located HERE with the pdf IgnatiusConrad document located on 3-13-26: https://countrymonks.org/necrology

It specifically reads: LEGAL NOTE: In an effort to promote the history of our abbey and the monks involved, Subiaco Abbey grants the re-use of any of the necrology documents provided below under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC-BY-SA), version 3.0. These necrology documents are released into the public domain for full use with no requirement that Subiaco Abbey be cited or referenced.MonasticScribe (talk) 04:04, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks to the reviewer for the comments on updates that would be needed for acceptance. I have added additional materials and independent reliable sources to note the notability of the subject. MonasticScribe (talk) 13:45, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Resubmitted Draft

I have added additional period related newspaper sources, later publications, and a bibliographic source, along with rewording sections to better convey his notability. MonasticScribe (talk) 10:08, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
