Eisenhoffer's death

[edit]

József Eisenhoffer was wounded during an air raid against Budapest in 1944 and suffered from a blood poisoning (caused by shell splinters) which was not taken care of (see the article in de:wp). What sources do exist for his (believed!) death in a concentration camp? --Wahrerwattwurm (talk) 18:47, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the source, but since it seems to be wrong, let's change it.[1] Mohrflies (talk) 01:18, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It would certainly be interesting to know the source should it come to light in this post-Communist era for Hungary. The date of his death would be too late for him to die in a Nazi concentration camp as they were all liberated by then and being dismantled - unless he was an immovable patient in a camp not yet demolished.Cloptonson (talk) 06:13, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
His date of deatb is also disputatble. This article states he died after end of hostilities later in 1945, however in Olympedia he is inconsistently stated who have died on 13 or 14 February 1945 'in a German air raid on the final day of the Siege of Budapest' by the Red Army.Cloptonson (talk) 07:40, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
His article in German wikipedia which entirely lacks citations gives his death date as 13 February 1945.Cloptonson (talk) 18:37, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
