[edit]Connection to 9-11 terrorists
[edit]This is wildly speculative, and has no reliable sources. Furthermore, Abramoff had already divested himself at the time of the allegation. Let's not blame every evil in the last ten years on him. It needs to be removed. On the other hand, I don't see anything on the Marianas Islands scandal here, and it needs to be added. -- Sholom 22:25, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Jack Abramoff scandals → Jack Abramoff controversies – I am concerned, on WP:BLP grounds that this is the only page using the term scandal in the context of a BLP (or more biography). Compare with other entries in Category:Controversies by person as well as Category:Scandals by type. The term "" is not used by sources cited here anyway (at least in headings). If this is renamed, we should likewise rename Category:Jack Abramoff scandals and the heading of Template:Jack Abramoff. Semi-related: Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2016_June_13#Category:Organizations_of_the_Jack_Abramoff_scandals and my recent proposal at Wikipedia:Village_pump_(miscellaneous)#Suggestion_to_rename_many_criticism/controversies_articles_to_include_both_concepts_in_name Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 09:41, 14 December 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 14:04, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
