Rename article

[edit]

Rename article to Jack Perry (wrestler), due to recent storyline where he is competing by just his real name 78.86.2.196 (talk) 05:52, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Support Jim Ross has called him by his real name on commentary when he was Jungle Boy. He also called him "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry. Publications such as People have used his real name. Plus, he's been using his real name for months. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 08:27, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

– See above; typically, with a change of ring name/gimmick, we wait a while to see if it sticks in secondary sources, and then move per WP:NAMECHANGES. Since the change of gimmick, and especially since All In, Perry has been referred to primarily by his real name and not as "Jungle Boy" or "Jungle Boy Jack Perry". Additionally, he is the only person at Jack Perry with an article who is routinely referred to as such, so he is the primary topic by default. Sceptre (talk) 17:41, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
