Position
[edit]The article states that jungle jim was a forward, but the box to the right states he was a shooting guard. need clarification. (by the way, I attended bob cousy's basketball camp in the 50s and jungle jim was one of the coaches there. i learned alot about the forward position from him including some dirty tricks. really great guy) Trucker11 (talk) 10:53, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing out the error. I've gone and corrected the infobox. — Myasuda (talk) 13:07, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Need to use NBAretired info box
[edit]I'm not up on the differences "NBA Player" vs. "NBAretired" Infobox, but Loscutoff is clearly retired and needs to have the infobox changed. I think one of the bad consequences of not using the NBAretired box, is that there is an "Info Page" link which I believe is automatically generated but is meant for ACTIVE players and hence is a BROKEN link for Loscutoff. (compare with Kevin McHale who is retired and has a NBAretired info box.)
Number of Championships
[edit]According to NBA.com and basketball reference, Loscutoff played for the Celtics from 1958-1964, which means he only won 6 NBA titles, not 7. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.234.7.180 (talk) 17:58, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
- Loscutoff played for the Celtics from the 1955-56 season through the 1963-64 season, so seven titles is correct. I haven't seen any source that supports your assertion (1958-1964) including the ones you listed (click on [1] and [2] as well as [3]) — Myasuda (talk) 02:21, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
According to basketball reference, Loscy only won 6 rings (57, 59, 61-64). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.77.192.235 (talk) 13:14, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
