Muppet Show appearance[edit]

  • While Juliet Prowse's edition of the Muppet Show is considered to be episode # 1, it was not the first to air nor was it the first to be recorded; her episode didn't air in the UK until Janury 1977.David French (talk) 03:22, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Apartheid[edit]

  • I recall that her liason with Presley created mixed feelings in South Africa at the time, because it was suggested that she was of mixed race, which was in those days a no-no in that country. The fact that something is now considered to be wrong, doesn't mean it did not happen, or is uninteresting, or ought to be glossed over for the sake of politikal korrektniz. Is this angle of her career worth elaboration? South Africans of the apartheid era were always torn between "Hooray for our side" and "Oops, she's a wonderful South African but she's, ah, not fully white". There is potential in an account of the career of Prowse to explore these themes but I see no evidence of it in the article as it stands.

David Prowse?[edit]

Is Vader really her brother? No mention of it on his page and it seems unlikely. CulturalSnow (talk) 09:07, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
