Justin is caucasian american. TheGoogler 23:03, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Then whats the backround of his muslim lastname? Chaldean (talk) 19:15, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The surname Abdelkader is Arabic. His dad’s dad came over from Jordan when he was 18 years old. He lived there and grew up there, but then he came over to Muskegon, where he met my grandmother and they started a family. There's no way he's actually Arab. He's white! Arabs are brown, not white! It's not possible! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lelouch Is A Spy (talkcontribs) 20:05, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Justin Abdelkader is 1/4 Arab-Semite (from Jordan) and 3/4 White-Slavic (from Poland). And as a result he is mostly White-American. BTW the Arabs in Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine and Syria look very similar to Italians, Greeks, Spanish and Portuguese. And if we accept Italians, Greeks, Spanish and Portuguese to be White people than Lebanese, Jordanians, Palestinians and Syrians are also White people. What are the guidelines for listing him in the category "Arab Americans"? His dad's dad coming from Jordan makes Justin only what, 1/4 Jordanian at the most, and 3/4 other ethnicities. TheGoogler (talk) 03:03, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In my opinion, 1/4 Jordanian plus too Arabic sounding surname like Abdelkader is enough to be listed in category "Arab Americans". Zarzu (talk) 03:08, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Should he be added to the "List of ice hockey players of Middle Eastern descent" article? TheGoogler (talk) 04:09, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
