The result of the move request was: moved. The only opposition appears to be based on standard Wikipedia style, but this was convincingly refuted by pointing out MOS:INITIALS has an explicit carve-out for cases like this one (see Bagumba's comment). @Dissident93: The April move to KJ Henry was also undiscussed, and I wouldn't say that it has become the stable title. I think you should just open a requested-move discussion to establish a consensus. SilverLocust💬 23:51, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I based it on the sources which were using KJ, the profiles all using it isn't because of Wikipedia. It has to be shown that K. J. is more common than KJ, which does not seem to be the case. ~ Dissident93(talk) 06:30, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Dissident93: Yes, it was a reasonable undiscussed move. But it was reverted after a reasonable time. Per WP:RMUM, the undiscussed move should not be restored without a requested-move discussion. (The title history is K.J. Henry -(bold)-> K. J. Henry -(bold)-> KJ Henry -(revert one)-> K. J. Henry.) SilverLocust💬SilverLocust💬 06:48, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Move The sources provided above appear to present a decisive case that "KJ Henry" is the correct version. Harper J. Cole (talk) 22:40, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. MOS:INITIALS would seem to be the relevant Wikipedia policy in play here. Ejgreen77 (talk) 01:02, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Those two bullet points say differently. He himself goes by KJ and most sources use that, meaning MOS:INITIALS shouldn't apply here. ~ Dissident93(talk) 19:33, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. Generally the way initials appear is purely a variation in style, and Wikipedia's style is to use full stops and spaces. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:51, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Support - this is a slam dunk MOS:INITIALS if the demonstration of there being a consistent style to not put dots in his name holds up. — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! (投稿) 08:02, 31 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Comment The relevant portion of MOS:INITIALS reads:
An initial is capitalized and is followed by a full point (period) and a space (e.g. J. R. R. Tolkien), unless:
the person demonstrably has a different, consistently preferred style for their own name; and
an overwhelming majority of reliable sources use that variant style for that person.
For minor spelling variations (punctuation and spacing after initials): when a consistent and unambiguous self-published version exists, it is usually followed
